Dawn Simpson is an accomplished self-published fiction author with an international following. She has released five books through Amazon. Dawn has worked through the obstacles of releasing the story within which had been oppressed by self-doubt and negativity. Dawn is in the process of losing her sight. She has endeavored multiple years of eye injections (every 3 to 4 months), several laser surgeries, and cataract surgery.

As a result/side effect of the injections has experienced steroid-induced cataracts and glaucoma.

Dawn uses her writing and ability to story tell as therapy to work through the stages of grief and provide herself with the outlet to see her grief from a different perspective to find the silver lining.

Dawn is a native Floridian who has lived and worked in Japan and Senegal. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She received a Meritorious Honor Award from a US Ambassador for her work ethic while representing the US Embassy.

Dawn wants to be a lawyer when she grows up, but for now, she is happy writing about lawyers in a fantasy setting and living vicariously through the stories.
